A good software developer uses automation to their advantage, test automation being a big part of it. So most developers are writing unit tests to specify and guard their code. Why is it that I've seen so many badly written unit tests in my life, even written a few myself? While unit testing tools are very easy, writing good unit tests that provide some value is not trivial.
