Hunter Biden to plead guilty to tax charges in bid to avoid trial

An attorney for Hunter Biden said the president’s son would plead guilty on Thursday morning just moments before prospective jurors were to be summoned into the Los Angeles courtroom where his federal trial on tax charges was scheduled to begin.

This isn’t a bid to avoid trial, it’s pleading to the charges, It’s actually saving the taxpayers money. Admitting to the crimes eliminates the need for jury verdicts. Whether he pleads guilty or goes to trial, Biden must realize the result would be the same. And, he’s saving a literal fortune in legal expenses by not fighting it. 3 felonies will send him to jail, which should make Republicans happy. There will be hefty fines for the other charges, which should make the government happy. Soon Hunter Biden will be out of the news, which should make me happy. Happy, happy, happy.
