Those transformers work on a timer 3 or 5 seconds on 5 seconds off, so the 1st few times he was missing the timer, now it would have gotten him anyway with shoes on just less than without shoes, but when he reached back up the last time he hit it perfectly timed . The fence is tmed so it cannot grab you or an animal and hold on to you. Giving you a chance to wake up and move away.

bs i got hit by one of those even with my shoes on. it was a nothing more than a single jolt but it stung hard and rippled through half my body. i was just petting the horse didn’t realize i was also touching the fence.
