Fabric softener will do the same thing, pretty sure that’s what’s on dryer sheets. A diluted solution might be cheaper. Try it one day

I’ve seen a lot of people move over to fabric softener . I myself have tried it but always go back to a dryer sheet

There's no wax in there dude it's an oily residue that removes moisture
