I find this scene irreconcilably beautiful, to have their lost and broken loves give hope and convey his own sense of longing. It’s truly wonderful to those who have lost love before.

Best scene. I memorized this letter once I bought this movie. Some of the built-in subtitles are incorrect though.

Heath left us too soon. A great thespian in the tradition of Ron Jeremy and Scott Baio. Goodnight dear prince. And say hello to Elvis.

Shannyn Sossamon is gorgeous and I love her as Jocyelyn, but I still feel like the movie missed a serious opportunity to explore a romance between Will and the blacksmith - I liked her as a romantic interest a lot more than the traditional princess - that comment about "her husband - God rest him" feels like the writers basically saying to the audience "yah, she's not gonna be the love interest so just focus on Jocelyn" but if they hadn't written that in, I'd have been rooting for the blacksmith right up until the end.
