HJC i100 HELMET - AVAILABLE NOW AT SPEEDADDICTS.COM

Sport-Touring is trending and HJC picked up on the movement. They took to their i-line helmets and debuted the new i100, a dually-homologated sport-modular helmet, bridging the gap between open-face and full-face lids. If you know anything about HJC, you know your head is in good hands. Expect superior quality and comfort, and with this i100, affordable versatility. They have extensive experience and history in the motorcycle industry and continue to lead the way in design and functionality, delivering a helmet for all occasions. The i100 is par for the course. The dual homologation gives you more freedom and confidence to feel the wind at your face while notching the miles. It’s a true game-changer. This modular stands alone offering a full 180-degree flip-up while others only 90. Your typical modular isn’t meant to be ridden open, while this bad boy gives you that option. Developed and tested for impact absorption, displacement, and structural integrity in both open-face and full-face modes, it passed with flying colors. This choice is yours and guarantees a win-win.

HJC delivers quality and progression through advanced technology. The new i100 is proof of this with its premium materials and dual homologation. They’ve designed the shell using CAD technology, chiseling the Advanced Polycarbonate to be lightweight and fitting with precision. It is engineered to transfer weight with optimum stability while being worn, decreasing fatigue and wind drag. The shell also utilizes the MotoGP-inspired aerodynamics and Advanced Channeling Ventilation System to ensure optimal aeration and cooling. Couple that with the Supercool Interior with advanced silver fabric and you’ll see to it that your mileage will exhaust far before you will. The dual homologation completes the package of the i100. This should inspire your confidence knowing that whatever mode you choose to wear, your safety isn’t compromised and your experience is elevated. Go the distance.

The perks of being a sport-tourer? There’s a choice. Take to the roads less traveled or group up to ride among the four-wheeled commoners. Choose to take the most interesting way around instead of the fastest simply because you can. Stake out the Million Dollar Highway without spending a million dollars on your lid. Either route or road you take, count on being ready. The i100 meets your freedom with ease and you won’t have to worry about stopping for fresh air or swapping out your helmet for the next ride. The i100 flips open fully and on the fly, bringing that breeze to you, or, choose to close it if gets super cold and you’re not up for pulling a Lloyd Christmas. Yeah, that’s warm… Bottom line? Choice. Common denominator? You, the two-wheeled vagabond. It all comes down to having the choice without compromising your safety, protection, and touring momentum. Distance is calling, so, suit up and sport up. This genre is yours.

I have one.
Very happy with it. Well built and easy to use with gloves on.

this is not a review. This is an overview of the spec sheet that that we can find everywhere and read by ourself. Important real user data like comparison with premium helmets regarding: wind noise, neck wind protection (which it seems to me very low), visor clarity, comfort, field of view, etc . are totally missing. These are the real things we want from a review; things not written anywhere. For example with my current helmet I have seen when it got cold that wind is blowing inside from everywhere. If this does the same then it is no use for me to change it with this.

Sens sucks. Wish more manufacturers would partner with Cardo as their communicators are far superior in quality. The i100 seems to have more windnoise than other modulars. This overview really highlights the wind noise.
Love the idea of this helmet, but it looks like a side mounted communicator would get in the way of the chinbar rotation, so it'll be a no from me.
