None of the points made here apply to 1440p at all. The first point can be replicated by just zooming in, the second point can be replicated by adjusting the FOV, and the third point isn’t even a point. If they have the exact same latency, how does that constitute as a unique 1440p advantage?

But now compare 1080p 240fps or 300fps to 1440p 144fps or 165fps. That's a more common combination that you'd find in the real world.

1080p is and will remain the best option for competitive gaming. NVidia is desperately trying to get gamers to buy these overpriced DLSS 3 capable GPUs. The pricing of the 4070 "Tie" is a joke. This card should not cost gamers more than $550. I urge gamers to vote with your wallets!
