For anyone too lazy to do the math it’s $17, 500 total

For anyone wondering, a stock 5.7 will safely handle 550whp. The 6.4 won't safely hold boost, as dodge put the ring gap too high. You need pistons to boost a 6.4 safely. Idk if the kit is available, but if the blower will work on a 6.1, those will handle 650-700whp stock bottom end. Also more reliable, and sound better than the 5.7 or 6.4.

Honestly for $17, 500 just buy a used hellcat motor, keep it at stock power and swap the 6.4 out. The 8hp70 with a tune will do fine at stock power. Way less complicated and you know the motor is fine as it doesn’t have MDS lifters which contribute to hemi tick.

I had an SRT Jeep and looked into all the options but then came across a boosted/lifted coyote F150 and made the switch as I want to do more offroad stuff

Idk why Chrysler didn’t make the heads compatible on the hemi’s so swapping the blower over would be easy.

Most important part is the insurance still thinks you drive a R/T 😂

I am a GM man through and through, but I love the way Dodge made their superchargers sound.

Labour cost just left the chat unless you're a technician or diy enthusiast 😂

Or ….for challenger, don’t swap the trans and keep the manual trans and upgrade clutch and flywheel. Save yourself $3500 from the overall price lol

Nice build! Now for the budget version, used SRT exhaust manifold, gutted cats, tune, NX Hemi 50-400hp kit, a tune, and GT rear gears. Total $ should be under $4, 000 including labor for a shop to install everything.
While it’s in the shop, I’d recommend doing an mds delete and a mild cam

I know a dude that swapped in the entire hellcat drivetrain and PCM/TCM into his base model V6 for around $16k. I’m willing to bet it’s the better route since now you have the actual hellcats motor instead of a 5.7 that’s basically capped at 650whp

Just bought an engine out of a burnt charger and putting that in 😎

Just do a Hemi Hybrid. 5.7 block, 6.1 crank pistons and rods, and 6.4 cam and heads. Now that is one hell of a motor

If your on a tight budget, you can use the hellcat cam and heads

Yeah or just take a old 302 or get you a 383 stroker you can put about 3 grand in the 302 or do a 5 grand and get the 383 stroker a lot cheaper plus dodges are so heavy get you a light car and fly by em thats why most drag cars are old mustands and trans ams
