this was my first prequel rewatch since finishing The Clone Wars and it really hurt

The bit on Mustafar where he eagerly jumps out of the ship is actually pretty sad and haunting. He's just like "Yay, another adventure!" completely unaware of what Anakin just did or why they are there. Then his confusion after Anakin tells him to stay behind, and he's illuminated in the red glow of the lava with ash in the air, symbolic of the dark galaxy he and everyone else are about to live in. Brilliant scene.
