JPM built 1776cc engine with a Hewland 6 speed sequential gearbox in the Outlaw Flat Four VW Beetle. running an 11.1 @ 119mph with a best time over the weekend of 10.9 @ 119mph.

That 1776 is a pretty special one. Built by JPMotorsport in Sweden. A lot of custom-built one off parts. The crank is custommade in England by a company that makes cranks for formula1, for JPM .

That is one of the strongest 1776 I've ever seen. I'm about to do a 2332, with a Rancho Freeway flyer and 3.88's.

Wish I could afford a sequential gearbox for my 76, those shifts are faster than Sugar Ray Leonard..impressive N/A build this car is dialed in..can't wait for my probuilt narrow beam to come in, with the disk brakes upgrade..car is coming along slowly but surely hope to post soon.
