🎧 Listen To #TheRanveerShow On Spotify:

Today on the show, we have Dr. Nilima Chitgopekar, she is an academic, mythologist, author, and one of the most learned people I have had the honour of meeting. She is an associate professor in the department of History at a college in Delhi, a writer, and a published poet. She has also been involved in making online films on gods and goddesses that have sold worldwide.

In this episode, we discuss how to make complex aspects of Hinduism more accessible, the divine feminine and divine masculine, and so much more. This is an incredibly deep and philosophical piece on shiva and shakti. We discuss the true representation of Lingam, devi energy, 6th sense, protection & more. Enjoy this episode.

The goddess whom we see standing on Shiva is dakshina kalika. She is dark, her skin tone represents tamas, which is controlled by rajas guna. Her red tongue represents rajas guna, which she bites and supresses with her shining white teeth, which are symbols of satva guna. So in this form she shows that tamas is overpowered by rajas, rajas is overpowered by satva.

I don't know about others but whenever I remember the name of mahakali, I feel goosebumps just by remembering her...she's the most fearless, courageous, feminine, brave and bold personality goddess. I wish mahakali bless every girl !!
Jai mahakali 🙌🏻❤

We can have maa kali without a tongue sticking out and that form is known as Bhadrakali or (Calm kali maa) in our house we worship maa in that form because she is our Gram devi or (the goddes worshipped in our village) Jai maa Bhadrakali🙏, the form of maa she is talking about is "mahakali" or "shmashankali " which is the fierce form and there are so many forms of maa Like Guhya kali, Bhadrakali, mahakali, and many more

What i knew was that when lord shiva went to calm maata down.... She was marching fiercely ruthlessly and mercilessly... and when her foot falls on lord shiv obviously unknowingly.. she is bewildered in regret and her tongue comes out when the realisation strikes her ... but what the lady here says is also true😊

When maa Parvati wore bhadra kali avatar she forgot who she was and just wanted to destroy everything in anger it actually shows how we all humans are! When we get angry we just want to destroy others lives, we forget who we really are and do horrible things.. which not only affects us but also affects our loved ones.. always remember about Ur loved ones before trying to do anything bad... that's what these stories teach us..

The story about Shiva lying on the ground is not supported in the Devi Saptashati. The Raktbeeja story is supported.
Saptshati also says Devi split into two - (1) all the attractive features goes into one form and (2) the remnants formed Kaali. The first form lures Chanda Munda into battle.
