Introduction to how Reiki works

Not your typical intro to Reiki, I do go off tangent to talk about belief systems and the deeper alignment that needs to happen for us to be truly free from our angst and suffering.

Working with Reiki is simply the releasing of blocks and old resistance to reveal your natural path, flow and person you are. It is not magical or an outside energy, it is a relaxation into your true nature as universal life force.

Thanks for this interesting, chatty introduction to Reiki. I have been practicing Reiki and listening to your guided visualizations for over a year now. I can go into a very deep relaxed state quite easily. I am no longer frantically paddling upstream . I go with the flow and use my paddle, which I see as my intuition and intention, as a rudder to steer with. I used to get upset when someone passed me recklessly now I just think to myself "There I go getting ahead of myself again" and let it go.

Hello Elaine, can you imagine I was fighting the flow and landed on this video? Thank you for not changing anything about this video. So in 1999 my ex-wife introduced me to this confusion(Reiki) I thought at time. Fast forward about 2 years ago she sent my a Certification that I had completed level 1. I got up today saw the Certificate and decided to google what is Reiki. Sure enough you video popped up with exactly what I am going through this present moment in my life. I am speechless. I must say that you have the most beautifully mesmerizing voice I’ve ever heard. I could listen to you for hours. I in fact became aware of Reiki from a video here on YouTube. For whatever reason I began to sob through the whole process hence the reason I sought out a class as soon as possible. Although I’ve been rather lack in my time with reiki I know how unbelievably enormous it is for our whole being.

This sounds like the same effect I get from daily meditiation. I don't understand the difference that reiki makes.
