I wouldn't actually say the actions are faster on Samsung. It's not as simple as that. The animations on the Xiaomi has more frames in it as they're trying to make it look a little too smooth. But because of that, they can take an extra moment to complete. You can cut the animation time in Dev Settings to match that of the Samsung.

I would have liked to see zooming in on fine detail areas as well as dark areas in the images to see the imagine quality at that level. Not everyone views their phone images just on their phones. Some people do also view them on tablet and laptops.

I sticked to Samsung for so many years, note 5, tab s2, note 8...all died in 2 or 3 years, that t s the best brand Planned obsolescence... The note 8 was becoming so slow on 3rd year, it was impossible to use, then vanished forever.
I tried LG g6, same cons as Samsung, sluggish for no reason over months even after factory reset
I now have a mi 10 ultra for 3 years, it's still smooth like new. The only thing I was missing was the waterproofing and the microsd slot.

Xiaomi 13 ultra is a perfect comfort size phone while s23 ultra is bulky
Performance while both are good but i will choose s23 ultra

MIUI has improved a lot, it was the worst in ram management and in this video it won against OneUI! It’s now much smoother than before, if I ever buy a new phone it’s either going to be a Xiaomi or an iPhone. Only those two. I have tried others and I don’t like their design, for me design and animation is a big part of the experience. IMO OneUI is outdated, they should really use modern icons and designs.
