The mannequin's face is my mood when I cut my own hair without having any idea of what I am doing

I've been cutting my own hair most of my life...and often haphazardly. I just followed this video and got exactly the layered cut that I've been trying to achieve for years. Now I know how to do it right. Thank you so much.

I work very long hours with almost no time off. My late husband used to cut my hair for me and I miss it so much. I've struggled with it recently. This tutorial is fabulous and I thank you for taking the time to show us (however reluctantly, lol) how to cut our own hair at home. You're awesome! Bless

I have only had 2 professional stylists who could actually cut layers properly. Having a license doesn’t necessarily mean they can cut hair so thank you for sharing this information. I get so tired of spending a LOT of money on crappy haircuts & ending up having to fix it at home.

Thank you for this. My teen daughter has extreme social anxiety and can’t go to the salon. I appreciate your tutorials. They are easy to follow and I feel confident I can give her a haircut like this!!

I have to admit that I am a retired hairdresser and I happened to find this guy by accident, I ordered a small bottle of the 25 spray and I can't tell you how amazed I was that it worked so good !!!! It's the best stuff I have EVER used on my hair ( and believe me I've tried them all ) I eventually ordered a large bottle of 25 and use it every single day !!!! Thank you Salon Guy

So refreshing to see a hairdresser who isn’t full of himself, great job!

I’ve watched your video a couple of times and decided to follow it to cut my hair this morning. I watched a segment, then stopped the video and cut. Then, I watched another segment and did the same thing until I was finished. It took me two hours. I washed my hair and the cut looks pretty good. I have curly hair so that makes it somewhat forgiving, but I felt like you really presented this well and it helped me a lot. Thank you.

I was a stylist 30 years ago. Cutting your own hair in layers is def the challenging part of me cutting own hair. Thanks for help!

This guy deserves a raise. I don’t know what it is with his tutorials but his explanation on why how and why to do it, is much easier to learn and follow from. Long time Brando fan but right away this guy demonstrated an easier way for someone like me to learn better, thank you! I even love the pony tail cut tutorial on how to blend choppy cut too!

I’ve been cutting my own hair since I was 14, I’m 61 now, I also cut my husband’s hair, I’ve been cutting many other people’s hair for years, I just couldn’t afford to go to school for it!
I just like watching your videos and others to get tips and new ways to do cuts or new hairstyles. Thank you for the videos and tips! 😊

I just cut layers in my hair following this tutorial. Thank you so much for saving me a trip to the salon. The best part is that it made my curls more bouncy! I love it! I’ve been on a no heat, hair restoration journey ever since my hair decided that it wanted to be curly after I had to have a hysterectomy so this helped my hair look sooo much better! THANK YOU!!! 🙂

I can’t believe it I just cut layers into my own, elbow short hair following your video and it looks awesome! I was a little intimidated by all the steps, most of them made no sense to me at first but you’ve explained them in a way that I understood perfectly and it made my technique much better as a result! I’m so happy to have followed this video, you gave me confidence throughout the whole thing. Thank you so, so much !

This is the third time im coming back to this video to use as a reference. My hair comes out great every time. Its hard for me to leave the house so being able to do this myself is really great. My hair is very thick and wavy. I always know its time for a trim when my hair starts getting flat. These techniques help bring out the waves. I use your bang tutorial too and ive gotten a lot of compliments. Thank you!
