DJI Mini 2 - Tear Down / Repair

Today we took apart a DJI Mini 2 to really see the differences between the original Mavic mini Drone, what we found was rather interesting

Sir this is very important for me I have a dji mini 4 pro drone which had crashed, now it is not connecting to the rc, sometimes it connects but if it moves even a little, it gets disconnected. Can you tell me what could be wrong with it?

Just what I was looking for!!! Have the mini 2 since yesterday. Love this one. Hat the Mavic Platinum before. The mini flies much better smoother and image quality is much much better. Btw. default Charger supports 18w. With my Anker Powerbank I have 24w chargeing (12v 2A). Very nice. Should be possible to even go up to 29w.

Thank you for this. Wish I could've seen where the gimbal ribbon cable plugs in on each end. Mine may be somewhat loose as one day the gimbal was unresponsive from the wheel. I saw a place to push in something tighter, but I think it was just the brace on the right side. Still working for now.

Do you have a video on how to disassemble the arm’s?. I broke a arm and need to disassemble it in order for repair. Plastic is brittle so I don’t want to mess around without your knowledge.

I love it bro.... I just got the mini 2 and of course, crashed the top cover got a nice puckture-type crack in it. so it's still working just ugly. I'd like to fix Is there a manual? Looks like the screws are hidden everywhere. I'm researching, before I go into it. whadya think?

Hello I would like to remove arms and motors from my Mini 2 SE and send the rest to nearly 100K feet aboard a high altitude balloon. Will doing so defeat the control, recording or transmission capabilities?

I kinda wanna use the controllers of one of those with a custom drone, basically taking the esc signal of the pcb and straping bigger drone motors on big arms to it so that it can actually lift stuff. you think that's possible? I think the controller and video system would be awesome for some custom drones. I'd love to see in detail what pcb does what and maybe an explaination on some of the pcb components. also it'd be interesting to check if there is some place on the pcb where you can actually grab a esc signal from or if they do everything different to a point where it'd be impossible to do that. Keep up the great content!

Are the arms identical, meaning that can I replace in example left front arm from mini2 to mini, without replacing the motors? Seems that finding new arm for mini is way more difficult than to mini 2, so are they 100% compatible (just arms), without the motors. (as I have just broken arm, motor is fine)..
