Who blobs their hot sauce like that? Just me, orrr? 🌶🥯 Pretty sure I came up with this recipe when I had nothing left in the fridge and now it’s a long-standing favorite. The ability to combine the strangest combos into something that really does taste good is an official skill in my resume.

Can you tell by my hair pins that I’d just gotten out of the shower before filming this? Gotta let those bangs air dry, y’know 🕺

LOW WASTE NOTES:
🍞 I saved this loaf from food waste when my friend was moving apartments and emptying their fridge. But I typically buy from a local bakery (try bringing your own bread bag, if they allow), or from a local vendor at my grocery store sold in a paper bag. Farmers markets are great as well, as is making yourself if you have the time.
🥬 Sauerkraut can be purchased locally in glass, or made at home for like $0.50!
🌶️ Pre-panarama, I bought spices sold in bulk, now I simply buy in glass or metal :)

The tahini part sounds a little off-putting to me, I think I associate it with sweet foods too much. I grew up eating sauerkraut with various forms of potatoes: pierogi, potato pancakes, even just boiled potatoes with butter. Also on top of veggie hot dogs. That’s definitely a comfort food for me.
