I wonder if the Venge 19 Disc is a good choice for Haute Route Alpes 2020? I'd really appreciate your opinion as you've ridden and finished Haute Route Norway with this new aero bike. Thanks,

please please please tuck the chain into your shirt or wear it backwards, or something next time. the click clack as you moved around was very distracting.

How does the Venge compare to your normal Crit bike? Also, what bike do you actually ride on in the crits? Having seen the race bikes and the show bikes up close at Red Hook Brooklyn, the Specialized riders are definitely not riding the same Allez prize bikes set up as fixed gear in the races. The bottom bracket area, rear dropouts, and fork at least are different.

I was hoping for a bit more about the gearing etc and how the overall package worked. As the owner of a gen1 Venge I know they can climb etc, personally I feel as though specialized has gone full circle with gen3 but thrown in some discs (a very basic observation) as my gen1 weight is similar and the feel is familiar unlike the harsh vias.
Great series though, really enjoyed it 👍

Sounds like he's from London... or Tim Westwood as someone pointed out. More people are interested in his accent than his S-works it seems

As cool as no-handed wheelies on a wet road are, I bet Alec could still do them with fenders and a saddle bag - pretty practical accessories for a couple long rides in the wet, eh?
