This is really compact and yet the most simplest and easiest too to make and use. Also the way the wire is wrapped around the pipe is the easiest to remember and impelemnt. This tools will work very well in small spaces - unlike other tools ideas I've seen on YouTube.

This is a terrific variation of a really old wire tie tool I was given about 50 years ago. Honestly, I think it might even be better. Great video!!!

Safety wire clamps work good if you have the space to manipulate the tool.

I would agree with many of the comments that say its way easier and smarter to just go buy a dozen hose clamps than to go to the trouble of making one of these....here is the but: BUT, the quality of the average hose clamp available at the big box stores is just effing pathetic. Especially anything smaller than 1/2".

I have yet to see an easy repair on a garden hose using maybe pressure rings for the hose to nozzle connection? For a DYI project.

Remarkable that there are folk repurposing expensive tools, welding and finishing complex versions while this starts and finishes a short distance from mass produced, off the shelf cheap parts. Folk must be howling out there. Off to make one. Great idea.
