So we have a 2017 hyundai Elantra. The drivers side adjusts easily. But the passenger side needs to be raised....upon turning the adjustment clockwise, we didn't seem to make any progress. Any thoughts, ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Why does amount vehicle say we should use a 5/6 or 8 mm wrench? Can't pinpoint location of it

Thanks a bunch for that! Only on my Hyundai Getz the screws work in an opposite way - clockwise for lowering, counterclockwise for raising. Still I was able to fix my headlights being useless and dim (they were too low) and I’m proud of the result!

Does anyone know how to adjust the headlights to realign them "old school" (straight ahead), instead of this factory "asymmetrical" orientation, designed according to the manual so as not to "dazzle" oncoming drivers? The left (as you're sitting in driver's seat) beam shoot down and to the right I think. It creates a dangerous black spot in the center-left as well as compromising the left side of the road illumination. Critters darting out have less time/chance to be seen and avoided. I know there is a screw to adjust lightbulb up and down, but what about LEFT and RIGHT?

what about Left to Right? My headlights are focused way off to the left and I need to just get them centered. I can't see crap at night... they messed it up when they installed the lights at the shop.. I guess I should go back to them.

the manual isn't clear, is it clockwise or counterclockwise on turning the vertical line left, out or right, in? no way to adjust the horizonal. Hyundai made it so that either they or an expert somewhere else does the job. the location of the screws is different on all years. my 2006 are attached to the light housing assembly. not 3 feet away under an air filter or a metal covering.
