Also, if you make porridge with your grains it is vastly more filling. If you put a veggie or a fruit in the 3rd slot, it adds even more satiation. And the little bowls of food have different visuals depending on what extras you add to your stews and porridges. It is sooo cute!

Fruit trees need at least 2 blocks in each direction to spread. You may want to move your cuttings further apart.

I don’t really have a favorite part of this game. I love the depth of the mechanics. The processes in this game are so rewarding.

Did you know, you can put the basket in your crafting window with a knife to recover half of the cat tails used in the crafting of the basket?

When you find copper bits on the surface, there is a deposit at a shallow depth underground. Typically those are fairly small. And they don't get reported by the density tool of the prospecting pickax. The density option of the pro-pick only gives you a probability that a chunk will spawn a given ore. It does not mean that it did spawn in that chunk. Similarly, you might find ores not reported by the tool (at least as I understand it).

You sure can find different things underground. There are all kinds of ruins with all kinds of useful treasures. But there is also translocators. You can fix those with 3 temporal gears and 2 metal parts (you can get both by panning, and get gears by killing drifters, and metal parts by looting ruins). Translocators can take you at another random translocator around 5000 blocks from there. You don't control the direction, but they let you cover a lot of ground quickly, and find different biomes and resources that you may need.

Idk if anyone has mentioned it yet, your smelting nuggets heat up faster if they are spread evenly across all four slots. ie: (5-5-5-5) not (20-0-0-0) for 100units

I think your game is detecting you standing in the farmland as a cellar because you are technically in a lower height than the soil.
It shouldn't impact your game so don't worry about it.
