2 hours in and lost contact...Most likely a power malfunction. Loss of computers, navigation, Motors and most likely any mechanical or electrical systems. They probably sunk to the bottom of the ocean so fast and hit the bottom so hard that cracks in the hull occurred and they imploded so quick no one felt a thing. The ocean gives life and takes it. R.I.P.

One of the other submersible pilots, who is working on the rescue, said a few hours ago that searching hasn't started - even with commercial rigs - because government paperwork is holding it up. He was pleading with govt officials to deal with the approvals tonight, not tomorrow.

But, clearly the CEO had faith in his own product to be on board. & If I was trapped in a sub, having a guy that knows every wire & every connection from one end of the sub to the other. That would be the person I would want on board. If anyone can fix it... It would be him. Best action for passengers... What can I do to help?

Losing communication less than 2 hours into the dive means the vessel did not reach the Titanic's depth. With loss of comm the vessel should have surfaced, that it did not would indicate catastrophic failure.

Obviously there weren't enough safety devices or auxiliary oxygen tanks. If it is supposed to automatically rise in an emergency and failed they're already dead. Tragic loss of lives.😢

The sub hull was built with carbon fiber and an ultra high-tech Hull Integrity Monitoring System. If they have lost contact for data exchanges and communications they may have lost hull integrity if it doesn't bob to the surface as anticipated.

The last mini sub accident was a Russian military sub made of titanium, the li-on batteries caught fire.
This sub is made from carbon fibre, if they had a battery problem that started to warm up the hull it would very quickly lose strength and implode at the depth they were at.
