We review the new 2020 RAM 1500 to discuss the importance of how trucks dominate sales in the US. In this video, we have fun while being direct in covering all the good and bad things about the new truck and why in most cases buyers would buy this or stay away. We don't ignore the issue but celebrate the good. With other products like the Toyota Tundra, Ford F150, and Chevy Silverado there has to be one for everyone.

"Forget about price and reliability and it's the best truck available!" LOL Killing me with this one.

I have a 2019 Ram Hemi non etorque with 47k miles and tow my race car almost every weekend and a few 2k mile trips towing it. By far it’s the best truck I have ever owned. No issue and dealership visits other than regular maintenance. I highly recommend this truck.

These trucks has reached an astronomical level of excess. I remember the days when having working A/C was considered luxurious.

Edit : Thanks for all the thumbs up.

I don't think he has the sickness corona when he made this. I think he had the liquid corona when he made this video.

Thank you for being one of the only reviewers that is honest about the reliability issue. Most reviewers won't even mention it.

Always great points of view coming from these guys. I own a '19 1500 Limited with 5.7 and 4x4. Traded in my '15 F150 4x4 ecoboost. I tow, haul and drive it everywhere. I'm getting 17-19mpg on the highway and 14mpg when loaded down with 7k lbs. I've had 2 issues which occured within less than 100 miles of purchase: A/C (they added freon-problem solved) and the Entertainment system (would turn and off - they replaced it under warranty). Other than those issues, no problems at all with 13k miles on the clock. It's all based on what you expect and how you use it. GL with your decision, very satisfied with mine.

I work on cars for a living and i can't tell you how many almost new low mileage Chrysler products are just cheap and falling apart. One guy had a new Chrysler 300 and the interior door panel was falling off. Plus the level of cheapness is unbelievable. Cheap plastic everywhere and higher class materials like leather is just cheap and low quality. They are also very difficult to service because Chrysler engineers seem like they have a vendetta against mechanics/technicians. Simple things like oil changes and battery replacement/service is a nightmare on many of their cars. On many Chrysler cars you have to remove the front wheel and inner fender to access the battery. Like it was totally impossible to put it under the hood.

I've had a 2015 Ram 1500 Ecodiesel since new. 66, 000 miles on it now. It was in the shop 2 times for a couple quick recall fixes. Other than that it has been amazing! I have pulled trailers from 5, 000lb all the way up to 18, 000lbs. I have a 3" lift on it with oversize tires and still get 24 mpg on trips. Love this truck!

Just over 40, 000kms on my 2019 Hemi and no issues to report. Love my truck. Also put 140, 000kms on my 2016 EcoDiesel (almost all highway) and never had any power train issues.

My Grandson has a 2014 RAM 1500 Eco-Diesel, and it has nearly 90 K miles, and he said he wouold buy a new one anytime, as it has held up very well, and he pull a 32 ft 3 slide trailer between Utah and California. I have 2018 RAM 1500 with the 5.7 Hemi. and I have not had any issues with it at all! We also have a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the Eco-Diesel, which now has 83 K miles, and it's only problem has been the emission system! It has been to the Dealers several times for that issue, but is now fixed since the last recall.

Fair review, and the reliability warning seemed reasonable. I am on my 4th Ram (03, 05, 10, and now 20), and I have never had even minor issues. But, everyone's experience is different, and maybe I have just gotten lucky. With that said, this has been the best truck I have ever owned. The air ride suspension is truly remarkable. I really hope we get some updates, especially with regard to android auto, to fully utilize the big 12 inch screen.

We had one as a fleet truck for work. 1300 miles and I saw it on a rollback. I asked my manager why - "wouldn't go anywhere when you put it into gear".

They didnt put in enough trans fluid from the factory....

Thanks for providing a video when almost no other car channels are reviewing due to the world being shut down.

When you buy a Toyota Tundra, you don't talk about fuel economy.

When you buy a RAM, you don't talk about reliability.

Took a gamble and bought one. 18k miles later and no regrets.

I'm driving my third Ram 1500 since 2013. The first was a '13, the second was a '17 Rebel, and now I have a '20 Rebel. I've had no issues with the first two. The new one only has 3K miles. I drove the first two from New Jersey to Seattle and back, three times each. Absolutely the best way to travel on land.
