The Ram 1500 was 2019 North American Truck of the year. This Ram Laramie Sport is one of the more popular optioned 1500s. Under the hood is a 5.7L V8 w/ e-torque 395HP & mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. The exterior of the truck has optional wheels and running boards. On the inside is where the Ram trucks continue to shine. All of the great finishes and tech blow everything out of the water. Is the 2020 Ram 1500 Laramie Sport the BEST truck to BUY?

Just bought one today and it's my first pick up truck ever after decades of cars. I did the homework and I was sold on that screen. I didn't realize how much more quality was inside the truck, I absolutely love this thing!

Watching this 3 years later.. i wish they were still that price. This trim is about 10K more now, and that's without any dealer market adjustments.
I bought a 2021 that looks almost identical to this one.. love it.

The Laramie trim is the best value for the money out of all the trims. It has extra features that competitors don't offer, has a very sharp design, and it's really versatile. Great review man!

Joe, I've had 3 beautiful F-150's and one Ram Laramie. Sir, NOTHING superseded my Laramie. Thank you for your excellent reviews!!

I have a 2020 Laramie. I love the 8 speed automatic. It is a very smooth engine and I get about 18 MPG on everyday driving.

Never seen myself seen myself driving a pickup truck, HOWEVER this truck is beautiful the way they made it, that 12 inch display screen and the way to change gears with just a turn of the knob is awesome, and the way you can add more space to this vehicle by lifting up the back seats is something...

First time seeing a Ram 1500 review here where you realized that the back seats can recline. Now that is what you call a luxury truck.

I love my 2020 RAM Laramie! I opted for the non-sport version because I like chrome bumpers and grille which don't get chipped! The ride is extremely smooth and there is no wind noise. I had test driven the Ford and GMC trucks but their old leaf spring rear suspensions are no match for the RAM'S superior coil springs.

My 2020 Laramie has these wheels which were a selling point for me because they looked really easy to keep clean. Smooth broad polished aluminum outer surfaces easy to sponge clean and gun metal grey inserts to hide brake dust between cleanings.

Got the 5.7 V8 Laramie 6 months ago. It has everything a truck needs, plus luxury and comfort. Did I say rear coil springs? This truck is a smooth operator. The only issue so far is a little wind noise in the driver side front door seal which the dealer will fix under warranty. I get all kinds of compliments on it wherever I go. Mileage could be a bit better, (Avg mpg 15-16), but hey it's a big heavy truck with a powerful engine. I made some mods to it and added a K&N cold air intake, new Flowmaster exhaust, Ultra-Flex tri-fold tonneau cover, Westin HDX side steps and a Ready Lift 2 " leveling kit with a set of 34 inch Ridge Grappler tires. Sounds great and looks even better. It purrs down the road.

just made a great deal at a Ram limited today, after I've done a test drive as Raiti's Rides suggested me...and I have to agree with you...this truck is a dream when it comes to comfort, power, transmission adjustment, and the finish is a just outstanding...f150 it's good truck ..but this one it's just amazing...👍👍

Joe, you may not see this since it was 2 years ago to the date of this video, but I just bought one of these and your review was a part of the decision. I love it. Black Laramie Sport is my first truck since 1998.

Love the look of this truck. Reminds me of the early 70's D100 pick up. Has that same look. Plus the headlights look like a Dodge Charger pick up. Love it. Only one thing wrong I wish FCA would call it what it is. A Dodge Ram!

Great review!! I have the 2020 gmc sierra denali and I must say the interior and the 12” screen on the Ram is so much better lol. My truck looks outdated 👎 shame on GM especially at $71000

I’m like 3 months away from getting this Laramie. Getting the air suspension and night package. I cannot wait. New F-150 looks really good but hands down this is my next vehicle

I own a 2020 ram 1500 with 11000 miles and it’s been great no problems I also have 35x12.5 on 20x12 on a 3.5 inch lift I had to trim the plastic but even with those big tires the ram makes me want to maintain good momentum especially going up the mountains love my truck.

If you're getting a pickup just to have a reasonable luxury pickup, this is the one to get. Most comfortable ride, most bang for your buck (especially with FCA rebates).

With that I'll say: if you're towing FREQUENTLY and heavy in the 1500 class, get an F-150. They're towing and payload capability can't be beat. Yea the interior isn't the best and is dated even in the new 2021 and the Ford sync is pretty crap, .but it does a trucks work.

If you just want a truck just to sit high and have a reliable engine, get a Chevy. Worst interior of the Big 3. Worst infotainment of the big 3. But because the Chevy is so simple, it'll show you less electrical problems in the long run because it's lacking technology.

Daily driving, Ram will give you the smoothest ride, quietest ride... And the best interior in terms of quality and look.
