ARRI Ensō Prime lenses draw inspiration from the Zen philosophy of being present in the moment. This brand film, shot by Tom Fährmann BVK, uses the amazing close-focus abilities of Ensō lenses to capture the movements of a master Zen calligrapher as she creates an ensō symbol.

The calligrapher’s narration reveals how the meditative practice of painting an ensō requires emptying the mind, focusing on movement, and embracing the creative flow. This mirrors the way Ensō Prime lenses allow image-makers to focus purely on their artistic vision, free from distractions.
