You’re the first person I’ve seen who goes into the nutritional, and function, of each aggregate. THANK YOU! very informative and much appreciated.

I know this is four years late. I have used your products and thank goodness you are out there as this material can be hard to find.

Thanks for the great video. I really like your soil and was very happy to see that you also have a shohin mix which I just ordered today!

I used to use SUperfly’s shohin mix and am glad to see that I can now use yours for my small trees.

I’ve been a subscriber to your channel for quite some time now and have really enjoyed your informative and tutorial videos.
Being a bit critical now some of you’re more recent videos seem to be taking on a much more sales oriented bias. Having said that I have ordered and used your pre mixed soil in the past and do find it of very high quality. Thanks 😁

Where in FL? I'm new to Bonsai. Learning in bits and pieces, lol. So, you don't put any soil and at all? Not even on the very top? Is Akadama the one thing I always see people poking the surface with a stick? Does it work also as the soil, or is that an additive to it? Is the poking in diferent spots on the surface of the trees that always gets me thinking. I welcome any begginer tips! Thank you!

Very nice Channel thank you. I live in Réunion island here it's very hot too and humid in some place not where I am, I've red mites in some plants... I use a good part half or more aggregates for soil, not for everything (some flowers need humidity, like dahlia etc more wet soil ), and light soil.
Anyway I've seen you use pumice. I can't find this here where I live except in a pharmacy, but that would be too expensive.
What's the nearest alternative?

As for the slag, I live on a volcanic island, so there's nothing to worry about. Pine bark is on sale (for mulching), as is clay.

Thank you
