Why on earth would anyone continue to talk to Taylor Lorenz? She's been caught lying multiple times. She constantly plays a victim. She's tried to ruin the lives of people she disagrees with. I'm genuinely unclear why anyone continues to interview this person who clearly has something clinically wrong with her and also has no credibility or professional insight. What is the value in talking with her?

I was in the medical field for over 40 years. I started when doctors were paid top money for clipping your toe nails. There was much abuse back than. Now there are standards that must be met. Once in a while, a claim or procedure will be denied. Your doctor has to pick up the phone and speak directly with the reviewing doctor, not the nurse, cna or the first person that looks at the claim . I always got approvals for my patients. My husband got a heart transplant under Blue Cross Blue and had many complications. Everything was covered, approved and 12 years later, he's on Medicare and still no problem with coverage. The system is not perfect but no one deserves to die regardless if it's the patient or the insurance carrier.

Not a fan of Taylor Lorenz but she's telling the truth here. Pierce kept yelling over her and she did not say she felt joy at Thompson's death. Thompson did cause the suffering and deaths of countless people and as he was raking in millions I'm sure he felt loads and loads of JOY . This isn't a right or left issue and we all could do without the shaming and scolding from the overpaid people in the media. We can hate who we want and since when do we excuse robbing people and letting them die because it's someone "just doing their job"? The guy makes millions a year. He can afford to quit his job. He wasn't stuck at that job. He chose to be there.

Lorenz needs to crack open a dictionary and read the definition of murder. Murder is killing with malicious intent. UHC claims denial rate may have indirectly hastened a person's death, but does not rise to the level of murder. Words have specific meanings and we should respect that.

I think people twist what they want to hear. Insurance companies need to stop denying claims, so much suffering needlessly.

Remember folks:
1) Juries can’t be punished for a ‘wrong’ decision.
2) A not-guilty defendant can’t be tried again for the same crime.
3) Therefore, even if the defendant is technically guilty by the letter of the law, the jury can nullify the law by finding the defendant not-guilty.
4) So if we agree with the actions of the defendant even though they are illegal, we can find him not-guilty and let the defendant go free.
