Realtime SQL Monitoring with Visual Studio Code

Oracle Developer Tools for VS Code is Oracle’s free extension for Visual Studio Code that enables editing and execution of SQL and PL/SQL with Oracle Database and Oracle Autonomous Database. Sometimes, developers face performance issues when SQL or PL/SQL is being developed and deployed. Hence, we integrated Real-Time SQL Monitoring to help users monitor SQL and PL/SQL statements. It’s a feature that provides an easy way to automatically identify run-time performance problems with resource-intensive, long-running, and parallel SQL statements. Real-Time SQL Monitoring offers several advantages over traditional “explain plan” techniques.
