In 1990 Manchester based musical band manager Nigel Martin-Smith wanted to create a boy band similar to New Kids On The Block. So he was introduced to singer-songwriter Gary Barlow. After some auditions he found Howard Donald, Jason Orange, Mark Owen and the youngest of them all Robbie Williams. Together they first were called 'Kick It' but soon became Take That. After landings some minor hits they finally achieved their breakthrough with the 1992 released album Take That & Party which reached #2 on the UK album charts. Their next album 'Everything changes' became the 3rd best-selling single of that year in their homecountry. Another huge success followed with their 3rd album 'Nobody Else' another #1 album and achieved great success in all of Europe. But soon thereafter Robbie Williams left the group and just a few months later the band disbanded. In 2005 they made a return as a 4 man band without Robbie, but in 2010 he returned and completed the line-up for their album 'Progress'. After another hiatus beginning in 2012 they once again made a comeback two years later without Robbie and Jason Orange who also decided to quit. Here now are my 10 favorite song of this group.
