California lawmakers have worked very hard to get our homeless numbers up.

California has great weather, you can legally pitch a tent in a park and church groups will feed you. If i become homeless here in Pennsylvania i'll be headed there myself.

They also don’t answer when you call 211 and they shut down the shelters even if it’s raining and cold, but the day before it was hot and sunny and they had it open. Lady on the phone at 211 saying they always answer the phone bc they’ll get an audit if they don’t, called 6 times no answer or shelter activated below 50 with wind. No wonder a lot of the homeless people can’t get back on their feet like they can in Minnesota.

Well duh. Homeless from around the nation come here cuz of the liberals passing out food, and the great weather. Nobody's freezing to death out here. Homeless from Atlanta, Milwaukee, Houston, every major city in the nation is represented out here

We don't need socialism to solve these problems, and that's what they seem to be getting at. Even if you had houses for every homeless person, they all wouldn't maintain it unless it is completely free to them, but nothing is free, money comes from somewhere. I am commanded by God to care for the poor, but most of these situations are by choice and can be solved if they tried to live a different lifestyle. Freedom is not doing what you want without consequence, that is lawlessness, that is anarchy. Other people can not support and live their lives for them. Not every homeless person falls into this category I'm describing so I want to be clear about that. If you want a better paying job you have to work for it, more income, housing, you work for it. Especially if you are physically able to do so. Blessings to all!😇❤

Why do we pay taxes and they deduct taxes from our paychecks if these inept politicians don't do anything! California taxes are so high, yet people are more poor every day. 😠

Elections have consequences and Democrats over regulation has driven up rent and home prices.

You can give the homeless a place to live...but you can't make them want to live there. Many here have been offered help. They refuse
it.🤔😱😱

Cities might as well just section off a portion for homeless.they don't want to end homelessness. It's not that hard.a lot of rentals aren't worth the asking price and states can build projects.

*DO YOU REMEMBER THE "TEMPORARY CLASSROOMS" OF THE LATE 60's AND EARLY 70's ?* These classrooms held 30+ students and desks, plus a teacher and desk, etc. Everything that a traditional classroom had, including a door, HVAC systems, windows, and overhead lighting. They could easily accommodate approximately 15 beds and chairs. A great ADDITIONAL SOLUTION to house many more people. *IF I WERE SLEEPING IN A TENT COMMUNITY, I WOULD WELCOME A SAFE, CLEAN, DRY, AND WARM SETTING AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.*
. *IF THEY WERE GOOD ENOUGH FOR PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS, THEY ARE GOOD ENOUGH FOR THE HOMELESS AS AN ADDITIONAL SOLUTION.*

at this point I think people need the govt to give the homeless people a job. a guaranteed job and that will help everyone. once they in the military wow will they learn to help themselves and stay away from drugs.. once they serve 10 yrs then they can can stand up on thier own..
