I found an antique ring at almost 19" deep with my ORX.
People that detect and that I know told me I'm full of crap but my wife and my son were there and they saw it themselves. I swear I did.
In fact I have found objects the size of BB's at almost twice the depth of my pinpointer. For a mid to upper range machine you can't beat it. And I have been a minelab man for a long long time. But that ORX is one of the greatest purchases I've ever made for detecting.

After having some of the most complex and adjustable machines on the market over the years, I find the simplicity and performance of my ORX best suits me. That's not to say a Deus or Deus Lite wouldn't make someone happy as well. It's a great time in the metal detecting hobby. We are lucky to experience all the technological advances in metal detecting. Can you imaging if some of the avid detectorists from the 60's or 70's could have seen an ORX or Deus back then? They would have been blown away! Thanks Kevin and Dave for a wonderful video!

Been detecting well over 40 years now used different machines some good... some very good... some utter crap!! But since I got the Orx just love it to bits its easy and light to use and fields i really have done to bits are starting to produce again..great machine 😊

I'm one of those people who do better with less choices. I've had the Deus twice now and both times I was overwhelmed with all the choices I had to make. It was simply too complicated. Switch to the present day and I'm quite happy with the ORX. Just enough tweaking of the settings to keep it interesting while not sacrificing its ability to find the goods. The best detector is the one that you are going to use and for me the XP ORX does that perfectly.

Great video Dave D and Kevin! I really like the simplicity and power of the ORX in a small light weight machine! It's the best of both worlds. I'm looking forward to stepping up to the full Deus and being able to make more fine adjustments for conditions on the ground. Keep putting out these great videos.

I love my ORX and Deus, even the Deus Lite which leads into my question. This infomercial especially about the Deus Lite expert settings completely failed to go into the expert settings on program 10 Goldfield. Same with XP's website. What's the deal with that omission???? Also, very little mention of the Gold 1 and Gold 2 settings on the ORX in this video.

One thing you wont get the search coils dirty swinging it 4/6 inches from the ground but i think that was because your not use to
