I have just listened to Rev. Calvin Robinson’s address at Oxford Union. Outstanding! One would be inclined to invite him over to the Catholic Church, were it not for the fact that it is a mess at our home as well. Maybe not beyond saving, but men like him, as our beloved Dr. Gavin himself, will face fierce opposition from the ranks of Catholic officials. Athanasius contra mundum!

We have become a nation of cowards, who have been indoctrinated into believing that to accept any perversion is ok, as long as it doesnt affect us directly. But, over the last several decades, vile ideologies have been piped into our living rooms, suggesting we should regard only self gratification as our primary goal.
It is old fashioned to care about keeping faith with our vows, and leaving your spouse and children is ok, and even desirable if you have fallen in love with someone else. It's ok to kill the child in your womb if that child would be inconvenient, and even the slightest inconvenience negates the right of the unborn child to have a life. We hear cries of "My body, My choice." as if this is a logical statement, when the life and the body that will be destroyed isn't mine, but someone else's.
We have been encouraged to despise the opposite sex, and to abandon, and ostracize the old, as if they had nothing to offer us. Wisdom gained from a life lived is set at nought. And what do we have as we approach our own old age? Many are just bewildered and lost.
So many, who in times past would be living a life surrounded by their many relatives, brothers, sisters, children and grandchildren, helping to bring up the next generations with a sense of joy, and relevance in their lives, are finding they are alone, living a pointless existence, killing time until death takes them away.
We didn't get here by accident. We have been bombarded by, and we have listened to evil voices. We have seen the Christian faith destroyed through ridicule, and through the failings of the Church itself. We all have a choice to make, but choosing the good is too hard for most people, if they do not have faith in God to help them.
We have been arrogant enough to believe we can do without God, but look where we are now. We have become afraid, and even ashamed to admit the truth, at a time when we are bombarded by the most outrageous lies.
We have to acknowledge where we have gone wrong, and pray for forgiveness, and the courage to stand up against the wickedness that is growing and showing itself so blatantly in the echelons of power all accross the world.

Another good question might be along the lines we willing to be complicit in continuing to supporting one of the primary agenda's being ushered into law via the trans movement - adults who want to have sex with children ?

Gavin, have just watched Catholic unscripted No 3. I am so glad that I'm not the only one who who took so long to realize the reasons why the Church does not allow contraception. I can now understand the wisdom of it. You explained it well . But how do you explain that to people who don't believe in God ?
