Continuing our look into Hawai'i’s Waiāhole Poi Factory, here is our review of their Chicken Long Rice! Since Mommy and Daddy Lau typically eat Chinese food at home, we really enjoyed this opportunity to expose them to new cuisines and cultures 🥰

one of my favorite local dishes. We like the noodles pretty soft. The broth it's cooked in should be packed with chicken flavor, fatty but not greasy & a hint of ginger.

Usually we add green onion, I add shiitake mushrooms and lemon grass to the soup. It’s usually more soupy, some even add rice water instead of chicken broth.

My favorite there is the squid luau. Then the lau lau. The kalua pig is good too.
