Just as Apollo was preparing to land on the moon, astronauts spotted a series of light flashes seemingly coming from the moon’s surface. The case is still unsolved.

At the time I remember a discussion between scientists reviewing lunar footage taken while in orbit. They were dicussing what one of them estimated were mile and a half oblongs he suggested were mining on the far side of the moon.
I've never seen that footage again.

If you know anything about the moon photos taken during the Apollo missions then you would know that those same blue lights occur in dozens if not hundreds of moon pictures. Sometimes one appears and sometimes two or three appear.

It is a bright object and it's obviously rotating because it's flashing
It's way out in the distance, certainly rotating in a very rhythmic fashion
Because the flashes come around almost on time

Meteor strikes on the lunar surface happen every day, they are quite a sight even from the earth through a telescope.

The satellite that was released has three arms with equal lengths which offer symmetry. The blue lights have varying distances. One light is further, we can also add it may be distorted, but that doesn’t convince me as the lights are near perfect circles.

That first flash. Was an impact from a meteorite or smaller element. Traveling at high speeds. But things in the orbit definitely something

Transient Lunar Phenomena - TLP - is a recognized thing.
Even Patrick Moore saw unexplained lights on the Moon.
Many astronomers have reported odd things.
