Fantastic! The simplicity of your words AND superior graphics makes this easy. I have looked for 2 weeks and found nothing but
unnecessarily complicated garbage. Of course, this includes my professor, my textbook, many other textbooks, and 99.999% of everything on YouTube. I hope you are well compensated.

I know that this video was made 8 years ago, but today it saved me. I am so incredibly thankful for people like you who make easy-to-understand content like this on platforms like youtube. Your explanation of equilibrium was straightforward, simple, and effective. Thank you so so much and I hope this message finds you well

thank you ! great video, I have a question though, let's say that we have two liquids that we want to separate, so we should have one component which has a high partition coefficient and for the other component should have a smaller value for the partition coefficient ? how is K related to solubility ? thanks!!

What techniques would one use to measure the amount of solute dissolved in one phase? Conductivity? Separate the phases and then do Column Chromatography for each phase?

does it make any difference if first fill with oil then water, i mean does gravity has any effect on the outcome?
