Thank you for sharing. two quick questions - 1. What if we moved the folder or file location? would this data model lost connection? 2. What if the columns of the new transaction data file are in different sequence / format, would the data model still be able to capture the respective column? i.e. need to be in the exact same format to add new files?

Another awesome video. 👍 Question.. assuming cleanup steps were performed in power query for the 2019 data, will those same steps automatically cleanup 2020 and 2021 as well?

Very useful tutorial. Perhaps it would have been better to use different data for the 2021 file as the figures are the same for 2020.

the link for the "FREE" downloads takes me to a login page and then a pay to register page, and not a page to download files.

Can we do the same thing using merge queries? I did merge query today on another dataset but not sure if it is the same or something different. Please help me by confirming, thanks 👍

Excellent Practicle way of Teaching !! I follow many Excel MVP since long, However this is the first session, which has explained me the entire process of Creating a Data Model from scratch. 💯👌Defenately userful for excel ethusiast like me. Actively seeking assistance on Multi Level Pie chart overlapping of Labels, I could find the solution by adding values from cell range! and moving the labels outside the Circle ! on by one, its a time consuming effort, Is there a vba code, which can automate this process! Kindly guid me on this. Thank you in advance for your support !

Thank you for the video ! How do you call pivot field from data model... let's say I want to date filter between range for "DATE" but error 1004: Unable to get PivotFields property of the Pivotable class.
Can you please advise. Thanks !

Private Sub Target As Range)

With
.ClearAllFilters
.PivotFilters.Add Type:=xlDateBetween, Value1:=Range("D2").Value, Value2:=Range("F2").Value
End With

End Sub
