Did the Joker, Batman's arch nemesis, the Clown Prince of Crime get pregnant and give birth to a baby...not really. The Joker The Man Who Stopped Laughing is an ongoing (time of recording) Joker series written by Matthew Rosenberg. The backup with art by Francesco Francavilla has developed an out there and wacky style that has placed the Joker in a bunch of bizarre situations like the one in this video. The only difference this one blew up? We take a look at the hows and whys here on Casually Comics!

Joker: Do you want to know how I got these stretch marks?

Such great commitment of Sasha to predict the future and get pregnant just to have a thematic thumbnail for this video.
Genuinely astounded by the effort on display from this channel.

My headcanon is that Joker was bitten by a Radioactive Seahorse.

the real question is: Does Zatanna owe Joker child support?

Considering how *EXTREMELY* overpowered Zatanna is, Joker got off pretty light.

When Quasar gets a pregnancy cover, nobody panics, because it was part of the bait plan. But when the Joker gets "pregnant" in the back issues, we'll then everyone loses their minds!

From what I've gathered of your coverage though this is just par for the course of being outrageous. If anything it's Zatanna's spell that baffles me more.

I think the baby Clayface could also be a reference to the Harley Quinn Show. There is an episode in the 2nd season where Jim Gordan tries to arrest Clayface and only gets his arm, then Jim and the Arm have a father son relationship over the episode with the arm reforming to Clay at the end. Then in season 3, we see Jim has a tattoo of Baby Clayface with the words 'Never Forget'.

Nevermind pregnant Joker - I don't think I'll be able to get over the phrase "bowl of veal cutlets."

Getting a story where joker gets pregnant to be on Fox News is a very “joker” move

I think the joke about Zatanna "doing tricks" wasn't a comment on their outfit, but was referencing Zatanna doing magic tricks, but having it come out comedically wrong.

Thanks to this video I will never stop thinking of the villains as being coworkers. Just imagine their water cooler chit chat.

…maybe Joker in the main story is writing the Backups as stress relief. He could have learned about Fanfiction from Punchline.
Or maybe Punchline is writing them…

If I had a nickel for every modern comic book featuring a dark yet humorous male character get pregnant I'd have two nickels, which isn't alot but it's weird that it happened twice.
Edit:I guess I deserve more nickels because there are far more examples then I realized lol.

I love that your videos do more than just review what is in the comic. Bringing in the culture around comics and what reactions are out there. I really appreciate the more in-depth analysis that goes beyond just the surface and tries to look at all the sides of an argument. Another great video with an all-time thumbnail!

That perfect balance of being casual and still super analytical of comics is why I love this channel

Clayface, you are ... not the father!

As a Zatanna fan is really sad that she is always underused and overlooked, and when they do use her IT'S FOR THIS

I never realized before how much I needed to hear Sasha say "'step on me, mommy'-energy." My favorite "overly-analytical" YouTuber!

The only good thing about this Joker series is the Casually Comics videos that have resulted.😊😊
