Webinar: Community Health Workers: Part of the Solution for Advancing Health Equity; Perspectives and Initiatives from the New England Regional Health Equity Council (Recorded Aug. 5, 2014)

Are you interested in learning how to build and sustain a regional collaboration to support Community Health Workers (CHWs) in your state?

The New England Regional Health Equity Council and ASTHO hosted a webinar entitled, Community Health Workers (CHWs): Part of the Solution for Advancing Health Equity; Perspectives and Initiatives from Region 1, which discussed key partnerships and collaborations between CHWs, allies and other stakeholders as we continue to build a regional network to facilitate sharing of CHW workforce promising practices and policy development. Speakers discussed the history and evolution of regional collaboration on CHWs in New England; highlighted the experience of one state's involvement in building support and policy for CHWs, and offered recommendations on how to build regional networks elsewhere.
