O.M.G. Part 11: Standing Seam Metal Roof Install Details

In this episode of the Oregon Music Garage Build (O.M.G.) we install the standing seam metal roof on the porches and I show you some install details. I also show you how awesome the Swenson Shear Snap Table Pro is.

The Swenson Shear Snap Table Pro was a large investment for RR Buildings, but my thoughts were as we continue to elevate our buildings, standing seam roofing will continue to be a method of roof install and it will pay for itself.

I’ve watched your videos for a year now and I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone work so hard to make things perfect. You truly are a Professional!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Nice to see someone else that actually turns ends and caps snaplock ends.. been doing these 20 years and most don't do it. Also someone that cuts all trim into together rather than just overlap

Have shown my builder son here in Tasmania Aus, a couple of your vids on finishing metal window trim. He now does it the same after watching your method. Reckons it is faster, simpler and creates a better finish.

I see so many crews on metal roof jobs who just rush to throw a job together. Their hips, valley's, and ridges look like crap compared to yours. You two are "Masters" at your craft. The reality is you guyz are just as fast. So Well Done.

Ever think of having an old plastic drum or the like on the lift for chucking all the small off cuts into rather than on the floor? Nice to see the shear in action, that looks like it could make easy work of any stray fingers! You can really get through the runs when on a straight roof with no hips etc. Looks great!

Kyle, my man, I just wanna say that the work you do is second to none. It’s obvious that you are passionate about what you do, and the effort you put into your work truly shines; It’s all about the details!

18:49 That’s 100% bada** and so so cool.
Time saving process right there when doing a lot, compared to us8mg snips by hand; & would see the appeal of having one of these.
Still though, it’s a beast at how it “cuts” that metal💪🏻
19:17 Another beautiful metal roof from Kyle & Greg😄 AND love the attention to detail you guys put into EVERY build. Those “little” things is what makes ppl take notice; and they do “add” to the build. Great job, imo👍🏻👍🏻
Cheers✌🏻

Solid advice to LP, surely something they could consider as a really reputable company, it’s surprising they don’t already have them precut to allowing the 16 on centre spacing
