You should look into getting a standing seam roll former if your going to do a lot more standing seam.

I used to estimate installation of this stuff and all applicable architectural sheet metal for large projects. It was challenging but taught me a lot and let to much better opportunities.

Just saw a metal roof like this yesterday and wondered how they got those big ass sheets on the roof. Didn't know it was just a bunch of little pieces together to look seamless. Looks much better than traditional roofs

Absolutely true don't get taken by the screw down metal roof when most installers put screws in the watershed parts of the metal rather than the high parts your relying on a rubber washers to keep water out that way

I can't wait to see this done...why? Because I'm trying to convince SWMBO that we may want to look at doing a Barndominium for our retirement home. We could do a 3200sq.ft., on a basement, for less than a traditional stick frame, AND it would be way better built. She just thinks they all look like barns. We know better though, right fans!
