I 100% agree with this message. Store bought goat milk tastes precisely like the odor of goats…proper diet/care, with clean handling and rapid cooling of fresh goat milk makes for delicious…even slightly sweet milk.

It also has great disease fighting capabilities. Unlike cows goats eat weeds and other bitter plants that most other animals don’t touch.

Nigerian goat milk is a little more creamy and sweet. I my opinion. I have tasted San, Nubian, LA Mach. My fav is Nigerian. So good.

Goats are a very versatile animal as well, you get milk, you can make anything that you would with cows milk. Drink it, make cheese, make soap.

its because grocery store goat milk is old. Goat milk doesn't have a good long shelf life. That's why it's easier to digest and it is true. its good! yum

I had to drink it when I was a baby in the early 60s due to being allergic to milk. I was able to drink milk up to 2 years ago when I became allergic to it again.I love it!

I wanted to try goat milk and bought some from the grocery store. To me it tastes like cows milk when it's starting to go bad.

Is the right diet strictly pasture raised? I still hear often that goat milk from pasture raised and supplemental feed, tastes funky. Im just getting into all gardening/farming things, so I don't know much but I'm working on it.
Here in California, specifically the valley, we've been dry for years, this year we got quite a bit of rain FINALLY but there's not much pasture where I'm at. I want to have a milk animal, what sort of diet would you do if you didn't have pasture around you? Is there a source of info you'd recommend that I can get into?
