If you want to play retro games on the go, the Creoqode Lyra looks like a good option. But does it hold up to the Kickstarters claims?

Buy a cheap emulator

Buy Rasberry Pi

"Well, first I go in at the wrong angle, and then I pull back out."

You'll get it right one day, Linus.

Nice save Linus

"basically like installing a sodimm module"
Funny you should say that as it's literally a ddr2 sodimm connector. Cheaper to re-use an existing connector than to design your own.

"I strongly think that the whole thing was designed by Electrical Engineers"
As an electrical engineer I'm offended, but he's got a point

So we pay $50 more than a Switch lite for less power, less RAM, less pixels, and less assembly so we can pirate 16-bit games?

"It's only 5 inches, but it should be ok."

Not the first time I've heard that before.

"I think it was designed by electrical Engineers" - Never before have I been so offended by something I one hundred percent agree with.

For my money, I'd go for a PS Vita and go through the relatively straightforward process of installing a custom firmware. It's a powerful little machine with a gorgeous screen, and handles the majority of emulators like a champ, plus the build quality is lightyears ahead of stuff like this. You can pick them up second hand for a fraction of the price too.
Only real downside is the proprietary memory, but you'll be hard pressed to find a better machine to scratch that retro itch...

This looks like a really bad product, especially for the money it goes for.

for the ltt guys: you can drop the roms on the sd however retropie is linux based so windows cant natively read ext filesystems so its easier to toss them on a usb drive

"I strongly think that this whole thing was designed by electrical engineers" Just because its true doesn't mean you gotta hurt them like that.

Edit: Yall are some very spiteful people for what was obviously a joke comment.

I’m a filthy pirate. PS2 games, DS games, and PSP games are my favorite.

Getting a used PS Vita, PSP (final specs) or 3DS with retro would be smarter
