When I worked at Epic as a PM, I suffered a traumatic brain injury and still worked for 100-120 hours per week. 5 months after my FMLA Leave, I was fired. I protested ceaselessly and Epic still attacked me personally (I had a really bad TL who made it her divine mission to destroy me, while other feminist female bosses would talk shit about me in front of me and literally yell at me). I angered my TL so much that she even colluded with my AM and IC to make false accusations against me. My AM and IC barely got in trouble for their conduct; and given the situation, they should have been seriously reprimanded including but not limited to being fired (I was even asked by the director of HR herself if I wanted a new AM, and I naively said no). The two are now actually married to each other, and have been promoted and given raises. Like them, the rest of your coworkers will be told to mindlessly follow suit and either falsely accuse you. This highly political, toxic feminist environment means that you are preemptively punished for any accusation made against you. And these attacks happened to me everyday.

It's been over 6.5 years going on 7 years since then, I'm still unemployed, I have no career prospects, and they've given me debilitating depression. Ironically for them, if I had a secure career job after Epic, then I would have been able to move on. And still nothing. What's more is that Epic even interferes with and botches up your personal life. And if anyone knows about the strong cult environment that Epic imbues onto anyone who works for/with them, then you'll know exactly what I mean (cough, cough). Not to mention, working at Epic has no transferable skills that any other company wants outside of healthcare IT. Overall, the CEO Judy Faulkner knows damn well what happened and what she did, and she has continuously proven to not be a good person. This is why friends don't let friends work for Epic.

P.S. Also check out the Lewis vs. Epic Systems Corporation case that went all the way to the Supreme Court. The case ruled that it is completely legal to add an arbitration clause to contracts - no class action lawsuits are allowed. That means no discovery. Epic's illegal conduct is the reason why they don't want to submit documents for discovery for civil lawsuits.

P.P.S. And the feds should really look into the HIPAA violations by your bosses and managers, especially given the nature and extent of Epic's product and services.
