I realize these are not necessarily non-fiction and that makes me happy when I hear stories about idiots who open their doors to let their dogs, which they call their “best friends”, out to run after or toward something nefarious, when they don’t even know what’s out there. Makes it very hard to feel sorry for whatever might happen to them. To my best friend…I promise I will NEVER neglect you like these idiots neglect theirs.
PS. Saving your dog was not impossible, all you had to do was act responsibly and keep him inside…

I like these kinds of stories, even though I believe most - if not all - are fictitious. But one thing that gets to me is when a pet gets killed. I shudder when I think of something like that happening to my dog. That, I suppose, is the scariest thing for me.

I'm not hating on you but I like believable/real encounters. The first story reads like the person telling it has a Masters Degree in English and that it happened directly to them. It obviously did not. I don't believe this encounter because of the adjective filled description of someone who was not there. Sorry/Not sorry. ☹️😮
