Nice DT prep haul! I need to pick up a new sewing kit. I love Comet and that Dove creme. Tfs!

Try getting products that have multiple issues - Castile soap - wash your face, brush teeth, wash your hair, dishes, etc. Coconut oil is good too.

Grab the DT athlete's foot cream. Exactly the same as the $8 cream at the pharmacy. Great for fungal rashes, jock itch, ringworm. Active ingredient is clotrimazole.

Cotton balls and petroleum jelly. You can make a nice long lasting fire if the grid goes down.

I got a lot of things at dollar tree but vegetables i can get cheaper at aldis or walmart about .50 cent a can but not name brand but sometimes you can find hard to find things like beets and potatoes there. It is cheaper to get soups and pie filling and even fruit in a can from dolkar tree. But every state and area has differences in what is hard to find. I have found disinfectant wipes and spray there though once in while and its waY cheaper.

That parchment paper burns in the oven, keep an eye on it! I have used it to cover a metal baking dish and the sections that didn't have food charred! Use discretion and keep ur eye on it, keep it away from the bottom burner! Good luck! Be safe!

You found lots of good stuff be sure ans get plenty of cold medicine mucinex, Tylenol cold, apple juice. They say we will have a bad winter and these things wont be available. I have bought so much cold medicine if my family needs it I am going to be ready t dose them up.

Learned in the 50s that Comet (and some other brands) eventually took finish off porcelain tubes, sinks. Etc. Switched to Bon Ami (hasn't scratched yet) and Bar Keepers Friend. More expensive but I use less product than the cheaper brands and porcelain finishes still look new. You can also clean with plain white vinegar. It's not toxic so safe to use around children/pets.
But your videos have shown some products I've never seen in DT in Northeast Ohio that look great!
Glad you're prepping for your family! You may not have severe winters but I've always tried to buy ahead on heavy and/or bulky items so I could shop my basement for those months when snow is knee deep.

Great video. Reminds me that I have to get band aids because my rough boys went through 3 boxes just over the Summer!!

The Dove cream is decent for chapped winter hands. Takes a bit to work in but worth $1.

I wish Dollar Tree would stock zinc lozenges. Nice haul!!! I want some of those camo bandages. I cut fingers on my left hand three weeks in a row. I was grateful we had liquid "New Skin" to put on it.

Don't forget that if canned goods are properly stored, they can still be used well past the 'best buy' date!
