Calling the Nuh violence ‘unfortunate’, former Haryana Chief Minister and Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda alleged that police informed about the situation beforehand but the government did not take necessary action.
“The incident is very unfortunate, it never happened again earlier. Earlier, police informed about the situation but the government has not taken the necessary action. Had correct steps been taken at the right time, this incident could have been averted.”
Several cars, and properties were damaged as a clash broke out between two groups in Haryana’s Nuh on July 31. Even police vehicles were attacked and destroyed in the clash.
