I've seen drunk people confronting police while being violent during festivals, the cops, from Montreal, calm down the situation by asking if they were alright and telling a sport joke, one of the cops faked being farted on by an other cop, that made the dudes laugh and made them talk with the cops instead of screaming at them. the scene finished with handshakes. a big bravo to the way they handled it.
