We thought it was a good idea, until we heard “man overboard.”

Why do they put blue camo in the navy? It just blends in with the water and makes it harder to see people that fall overboard who the hell needs blue camo? Weird

The nuttiness of camo for the navy and airforce. Got to hide from dolphins and pigeons. 🤣

Why did they do this... did they not see how this didn't work out for the US navy in the mid 2000s?

Imagine wearing a *BLUE CAMO* pattern in [current year] LMAO

The pattern makes sense: ground troops wear green brown or white to blend into the vegetation or snow; sailors wear churning frothy water pattern to blend in when they fall overboard and find themselves in the churning frothy ship’s wake.

Multicam is slowly becoming the BDU of the 21st century.

Imagine having your ship sink, and you're floating in the water waiting for rescue. When overhead a S&R helicopter passes by, and completely misses you because you're literally wearing water coloured camouflage 🙄😅

Ah yes, blue camouflage so you blend into the water, I can see no possible scenario where that that could cause a problem...

Please look into the new Philippine uniforms if you can =D The Coast Guard, Navy, and even the Bureau of Fire Protection (the bright pixelated orange fatigues for their special unit iirc) all have quite the interesting patterns these days.

Don't imagine this camouflage will be useful as there's no blue bushes aboard ship...

its weird they went with blue fractal instead of Blue Multicam with them adopting Multicam as there new pattern

For those saying that the camo blends in with the water, the water surrounding Netherlands is green due to algae and stuff.

Obviously, nobody is anticipating having to identify and retrieve sailors that end up in the water.

They should design a fabric that turns bright orange when it gets wet.

Fuck that’s a sharp looking pattern. Hopefully it works well

Not a version of MultiCam. It's just MultiCam. Based on Crye clothing, manufactured by Seyntex and Sioen
