Back before anything was confirmed, I mentioned the rumors of the Zelda movie to my mom. We thought it would be animated, and she said that since I'm a beginning voice actor, I should audition. I said they'd probably go with a celebrity voice actor, but it's nice to know I have Mom's support.

They have to have Link be silent and alone for most of the story.
Having his conscience do inner dialogue is going to be the main way we hear him at all.
This is the best way to stay true to the story.
