Debug PHP in VS Code on your local web server (XAMPP)

In todays video I am going to show you how to set up your local web server to debug php locally. This is a fantastic tool that allows you to go through your code step by step, checking the values and the flow of your php application.

your tutorial is short and spot on, you are just missing the part where after adding the extension in php/ext and editing php.ini, you have to restart apache, otherwise changes won't take effect.

No connection between xampp and vscode debugging in this tutorial. Php Debugging Extension in VSCode works separately from XAMPP.
