Happy to see another post from you! First time commenter but long time viewer of your videos. I’m always really inspired by how much you fit on your balcony. I’ve especially enjoyed your videos about flower bulbs on the balcony. I’m also gardening on a balcony in Germany.

I’ve got a real love for flowers and find it hard to give up space for veg - with the exception of tomatoes as I love the smell! My new challenge for this year is dahlia tubers.

Nice video! I started an edible container garden on my covered balcony last season. I am a beginner gardener. Gardening is so rewarding and relaxing!🪴

I don’t have an outdoor water source so I completely agree with putting your plants as close to your water source as possible! Carrying water back and forth is tiring! Also, I would recommend preparing for the elements if you don’t have the option of bringing your plants inside. For example, if your balcony is uncovered and you have extremely hot summers, invest in shade cloth. If you have plants that you want to overwinter, like peppers, invest in a small portable greenhouse.

I hope you will go far. Patience is very important for success. Never get discouraged no matter how bad the weather is or how low the views are. He/she was disappointed and failed. I have a small balcony and am learning as much as i plan to start planting a couple veges and herbs, hopefully strawberries, this year! But April is almost upon us so i know i need a get a move on! You are my hero! Thank you for your beautiful videos. as I need to learn how to do this. I no longer have the energy for a huge project, but I do feel very inspired to create a container garden on my back stone wall area that has a large flat, 2-ft-wide gravel shelf-top, and backsplash of earth and flowers and grasses. Fun. I began with my 7 hyacinths.
